In an effort to develop data journalism in the region, Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) started the first six-months data journalism course for Arab journalists in 2020. Participants in the course compete to produce data stories with ARIJ. We will be examining some of the most impactful stories produced in several Arab countries since the initiation of the course.
